The Capital City Farmers Market operates year-round hosting 3 distinct markets boasting more than 60 local farmers, producers & artisan crafts.
Outdoor summer market every Saturday 9am – 1pm from May through October in our expanded location up on State Street.
Thanksgiving holiday market held at the Montpelier High School on November 16, 2019 from 10am – 2pm
Indoor winter market every other Saturday from December through April inside of the City Center in downtown Montpelier
More than 60 percent of the products you’ll find at market represent local agriculture, including produce, meat, cheese, plants, honey, maple syrup, and wool. You’ll find local ingredients in the prepared and ready to eat foods at market too, as well as local materials in many of the crafts available. Listen to live music, watch a cooking demonstration, support young vendors on youth day, you’ll always find something new at market. Support local agriculture, year round!
