The Capital City Farmers Market operates year-round hosting 3 distinct markets boasting more than 60 local farmers, producers & artisan crafts.
Outdoor summer market every Saturday 9am – 2pm from May through October in our NEW location at 2 Taylor Street, downtown Montpelier.
Thanksgiving holiday market held at the Montpelier High School on November 23, 2019 from 10am – 2pm.
Indoor winter market – the first three Saturdays in December, and then every other Saturday starting January 4th, 2020 through April.
More than 60 percent of the products you’ll find at market represent local agriculture, including produce, meat, cheese, plants, honey, maple syrup, and wool. You’ll find local ingredients in the prepared and ready to eat foods at market too, as well as local materials in many of the crafts available. Listen to live music, watch a cooking demonstration, support young vendors on youth day, you’ll always find something new at market. Support local agriculture, year round!
