Come down to the market on May 7th — opening day of the outdoor market season.
The market features a full mix of farmers, food producers, and craftspeople. Plenty of greens, annual and perennial plants, fruit shrubs and bushes, and garden beds and containers. You’ll also find wild spring edibles, freshly dug root vegetables, plenty of vegetables, as well as a variety of cheeses, meats, mushrooms, etc…
Check out our vendor page to see who’s coming!
The market is one activity (there are 10 other events) happening over the first weekend in May, known as Montpelier Mayfest.
Throughout the season, you’ll learn at cooking demonstrations, enjoy a localvore meal listening to live music, support young farmers on youth day (photo from 2015 Youth Day at the market), and visit with friends on the “community green.”
See you on the 7th!
